On May 9, Co-PLAN held the third roundtable in Elbasan District within #GreenAL!
Representatives of the district, the Municipality of Belsh and civil society organizations were part of the roundtable.
Some of the most urgent environmental issues in this district identified by the participants are:
- Damage to the forests and biodiversity of the area
- Cleaning the water of Lake Belsh to increase the tourism potential of the area and increase community awareness of this issue
- Urban waste management in rural areas and protected areas
- Consequences of HPPs on biodiversity.
