THE CALL FOR ‘ON THE SPOT’ GRANTS IS OPEN FROM JULY 31, 2024
This call aims to facilitate/encourage a response to a development with an environmental impact which can be considered urgent and requires action to bring it to the attention of citizens and decision-makers with the aim of raising awareness for taking measures and addressing the issue.
The objectives of the call are:
- Support Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to respond and act on a development with an environmental impact that threatens public well-being;
- Encourage community engagement and an increase of positive pressure for transparency and accountability in the processes of drafting policies, strategies or development projects with a significant impact on the environment.

All applications must be submitted ONLINE by filling in the data and uploading the relevant documents in the below table. All documents must be 5MB or smaller.
This call for grants will be open until June 30, 2027. Applications will be accepted continuously until all available funds are disbursed.
